One cup carries the Melba backstamp same pattern, same shape, same gold trim.
Fascinating Fun Facts:
The Melba mark was a trade name used by multiple Staffordshire potteries. The script-style Melba Bone China Made in England stamp on this cup is linked to Mayer & Sherratt, active c. 19251941.
Pattern-sharing was extremely common among midcentury English potteries.
Bone china contains calcined bone ash, giving these cups their classic lightness and translucency.
